I know, no one thinks these types of pictures are cute but the parents...isn't he the exception though? Adorable even with the nice display of marinara! Posted by Hello

Sometimes You Just Have to Laugh!

My sweet Judah. He is truly ALL boy. From jumping down the stairs, to picking his nose and laughing as he attempts to wipe it on me, to coming in from playing filthy from head to toe, to swallowing a 3/4" S-hook. Yes, he swallowed an S-hook. This happened on Thursday afternoon. I came out of the shower and he was playing in Daddy's tools--AGAIN. In his little hand he had the S-hooks and the little baggy that held them sat on top of the tool box. I put them all away--or so I thought--and told him not to play in Daddy's tools...on our way out of the room he made a "hacking" sound...I quickly asked him what he swallowed and he answered "Swallow Nail Mommy". Oh well. They all do these types of things, right? As I wait for it "to pass" (ew) I chuckle....and pray it doesn't S-hook itself into his intestines! Who knows, maybe I will be taking him in for an X-ray on Tuesday! I will keep you posted (no pun intended!)

Brothers! Fun! Posted by Hello

Our New Addition

Life is good. I was inspired to start a blog because I want all my friends and family to check up on us and see what we are up to--even when they do not receive a phone call for months! (For those who know what I am talking about--we love you and we are sorry!)

Our latest news is Creed Andrew Maurer, born on March 9, 2005. He is beautiful and has brought so much joy to our family (as well as a new dynamic!). I am doing my best to cherish every moment as everyone always says how these times will fly by. In the middle of school, work, and family, sometimes it is hard to remember those bits of advice, though I am trying!

I have no idea how this blogging really works, so be patient while I figure it out and post pics and bring news...more to come!
